Today we celebrate World Whale Day! Our mammalian kin are recognised today for all their beauty, and as a reminder that our efforts to protect them are more important now than ever before.

The Blue Whale is the largest animal known to have ever existed. Balaenoptera musculus has been recorded up to 29.9 metres in length
